Seems to be the general consensus. Doesn't seem to be affecting the riders though.

I was thinking the same thing - especially the port side, but that could be due to more weight on that side

I really doubt that MasterCraft would bring the boat to market and the PWT and all of their athletes would sign off on it if the wake was washed out and not better than the old XStar. How much can you really know/feel from a picture or video?

Our rep for Ronix was just in the store and they just got done with their 2013 photo shoot and had a G23 and a 2013 X-Star. The riders liked the G23, but completely loved the new Star. The washed out wake is on the down side and with that much weight in it and for how hard those riders pull, that is a good thing for landing.

It looks pretty washed on the approach side. There is always wash on the landing in most boats that are heavily weighted. Here is the thing........the pros said they all loved the first version too....we know how that wake turned out..........they are paid to say that. Only time will tell from real people reviews that aren't being paid by the mfg



Loved the re worked tweaks inside from what I have seen tho.

I am pretty sure that all of the Ronix riders are NOT paid to say they love the MasterCraft XStar since many of them are riders for other boat companies.

My experience for the washed wake is the PerfectPass is not holding speed in combination of the load forced on the approach side
when the wake to wake 1080 and 1260 and double back is done during tournaments it'll put everyone apprehension to rest

I think the video is deceiving .. the last hit tells it all. Perfect camera angle and wake looks Rad.
