Other than the transom, is the hull of the BF200 different than a Prostar?

I seem to remember--or maybe want to remember--that he was sponsored by both MC and Yamaha. That's why you see most rigged with Yamaha's.

My mind could be way off though...
Yes, you are correct. He started with Ski Centurion which was powered by Yamahas on the Barefoot Warrior and then he teamed up with MC to re-design the Powerstar 200 into the Barefoot 200.

Basically the shape of the boat is different...BF200 is wider and maybe even a bit shorter. Interior design is totally different between models...

There is a thread on here that discusses the differences between the Prostar200 vs. Barefoot 200 vs. Powerstar 200...someone may be able to add the link.

She is a great boat and in excellent condition. With new power (2008) Yamaha 225F, less than 60hrs, new hydraulic steering, new alum. trailer and dual switched batteries. Orig upholstery + carpet + gel coat, with new engine gauges + controls. Fresh water only. Located in Houston.
As you can see from the hrs she does not spend enough time in the water. Boat is also listed on BoatTrader.com $27,795.00

When did he start with Centurion?

He was sponsored by Correct Craft in '84.

He may have had a few years with Correct Craft but when he went to Ski Centurion shortly after, that's when BFI took off and he stood on his own with own company. At that time is when you started seeing his wetsuits, drysuits, equipment, etc. more than when he was with CC.

Good catch!

Seriously doubt that you still have it, VERY NICE boat!
It's a shame you have to let it go, however it will make the next barefooter a very proud owner ...
