93 MC Barefoot 200 For Sale
I am reluctanly placing my BF200 on the market.
She is a great boat and in excellent condition. With new power (2008) Yamaha 225F, less than 60hrs, new hydraulic steering, new alum. trailer and dual switched batteries. Orig upholstery + carpet + gel coat, with new engine gauges + controls. Fresh water only. Located in Houston. As you can see from the hrs she does not spend enough time in the water. Boat is also listed on BoatTrader.com $27,795.00 Last edited by aquaman; 11-26-2012 at 02:27 PM. |

Nice boat! Talk about a boat that holds it's value, I'd say any clean MC barefoot 200 or Powerstar 200 are the best models for resale value.
Anyone know what the boat/motor sold for new in '93?

It should have been a Yamaha ProV 200 IIRC

Some of the Barefoot 200 were rigged from the factory with Merc 200hp.......most common was the Yamaha ProV 200hp.
The boat is rated for 225hp. |

It was really based on who the delaer was at the time that ordered / received the boat. The boats were not rigged with motors from the factory. Most BF 200s you see have Yamahas on the back.

Regardless of the asking price that is a CLEAN boat that has been babied with low hours on the repower! Someone will buy that boat and pay good $$$$ for it!!!

Did Mike Seipel have a hand in developing the BF200?
I seem to remember--or maybe want to remember--that he was sponsored by both MC and Yamaha. That's why you see most rigged with Yamaha's. My mind could be way off though...
