Vessle Registration in Canada ??

OK.. last time I registered my boat, I just visited a Canada Services office and they filled in they processed my application and provided me with the registration number imediately. Now that is no longer the case. I was told to go online (transport Canada website)... holy god, I have been going in circles trying to find the forms. Anyone have any luck registering your boat easily in Canada??

I believe you are looking for this? just click on the "PDF" to the right and it should download. Took me a few minutes to find as well - made me wish I didn't delete the link I had saved in September!

Just did mine over the winter. Not a big deal at all, print out the form and fill it out. Sent it off and 2 weeks or so later the registration comes in the mail.

The Service Canada office has the forms as well, complete with the addressed envelope.

On which portion

I brought my boat back in Nov

Paid 12% on the boat value at the border
Paid 5% on the trailer value at the border
Paid 7% on the trailer value when I insured it

GST and PST on boat, PST on trailer? Is that correct? What is 7% for?

Will I ever be able to afford living in BC. Yikes!
