197 floor bubble?

On the passenger side of my 197 is a spot about the size of a basketball that if I walk on it, it feels like the push top of a snaple bottle. Anyone know what causes this?

Assuming fiberglass floor it sounds like a blister from too much standing water maybe under the carpeting. Have your dealer check it out.....is your hull still under waranty?

I've heard of it happening to 190's and 197's and I'd definitely take it to a dealer to see if it is warrantied.

If it is the fiberglass, then that is called delamination. There may be a layer of foam under the bubble and it could have not had a great bond to begin with or had water penetrate as mentioned before. Sounds like a warranty issue to me.

It felt like delamination but wanted a second opinion. I'll run it to the dealership and get them to look at it.
