Weekend Getaway Locations

Our 10 year anniversary is coming up in July and I'm trying to figure out what to do. I'd be content spending the time on the MC, but the wife doesn't completely agree. Any recommendations for a decent weekend vacation that won't break the bank(just redid interior and wrapped it). We live in the Nashville area and the wife hasn't travelled much.

the gulf may be hike for you but never a bad trip. Gulf Shores, Pensacola, Panama City Beach, or Destin.

Gatlinburg is supposed to be romantical. But I've always though it was cheesy.

I'd suggest Savannah, Ga. Cool town with a ton of charm. Plenty to get out and do there... or not.

We've done Gatlinburg, PCB, Jamaica...just thinking maybe it's time to hit the west coast. Maybe Vegas or San Fran...?

I was in Cali desert for a week with work and in LA for a day. Could have spent much more than the few hours i had available finding stuff to get into there. good luck.

was in Eureka Springs AR last weekend, on a day trip..... It's up near Beaver Lake. Was pretty impressed, it's a bed & breakfast town with a LOT of Historic architecture... I'll get my pics uploaded to my server soon.
The Cresent Hotel was amazing! it's an old haunted sanitarium

We just did a couples trip to NOLA for Valentines day (wife's 40th b-day as well). It was incredibly fun with 6 other couples. Not sure how uncomfortably hot it would be there in July.

And as Milk said, Eureka Springs is great or even Hot Springs for a getaway.
