replacement ballast for X-10

hey all
so these are the pumps i have in the boat now. it seems no one knows what they are. i can't really afford to buy 3 of the puppies, so I'm looking for any other options that are a bit cheaper. my other concern is there is no place to bolt down i bigger pump. these are just kinda thrown in the bilge. any ideas is appreciated.

If they're aerator pumps they have to be in the bilge/below the waterline because they can't pump air (i.e. NOT self priming). I've never seen pumps that look like that though.

If you went to impeller pumps you could replumb the hose and mount them on the transom, higher up since they can pump air and self prime.

You could replace them with something like a Rule 1,100 GPH aerator for pretty cheap. Aerator pumps get a bad rap but I've been pretty satisfied with mine (Tsunami 800 GPH). Also, if I have a failure then I can just grab a new one at Wal-Mart or Academy for like $30.
