Clarion XMD3 for sale

When I converted to rack and pinion steering on my '93, the Clarion interfered with the rack, so I had to yank it. Anybody want it for $35?

I am looking for a HU that will fit with the R&P. Everything I have found does not have the pre-amp outs for front, rear, and sub. I looked at the unit you used and it works for your purposes.

Any leads on another HU?

If it fits in the opening in my boat, I'll take it for sure. Can you give me measurements?

Thanks!

Troy

Clarion XMD3

The dimensions are:
Face plate: 9" x 3.5"
Chassis (behind faceplate): 7" wide x 2" tall x 6" deep, centered with respect to faceplate

Here are a few pictures. The hard plastic pieces were used to adapt to the larger opening in the dash.

Hmmmmm?

I got the unit right away and have spent 3-4 hours of time and effort over several days trying to install and get it to operate but it won't function in any way. I have tried two different wiring harnesses and two different batteries with no success. I have sent two private messages asking for guidance and have not gotten a response.

This is pretty upsetting. Unless I hear otherwise, I'd have to say that I've been scammed by ggisler.

I'm a bonehead.

I need to make a public apology to Gary (glgisler).

Once I finally put the correct wires to the correct sides of the battery, the stereo works perfectly.

I'm sorry Gary. I'm very excited to have the stereo working correctly.

USER ERROR on Troy's part!
