How wide is your trailer?

I am looking at boat storage for the winter and do not have the width of the trailer. (Trailer is at the farm, boat is on a lift) I have a 1995 2 axle trailer for a Maristar 225VRS.

I am thinking that it needs more than the typical 8' door...

I looked up the 1995 brochure and it states the width a mid ship at 96". That would most likely mean your trailer would be 4-10 inches wider than 96". Just guessing. How much does it hang off the trailer on each side over the wheel wells?
Hope that helps....................

Steve

Just measured mine, it is 106" outside to outside of fenders. I have put it through an eight foot door before, very tight fit

Thanks guys...I just remembered that I had to put it in a garage a while back and it fit, but with only an inch on either side of the wheels. It was a pain to get in (and out) butit fit and was dry!

Um, isn't 8' x 12 = 96"? So I guess the door was really a bit wider than 8'?

Legal limit it 102" so it should not be more than that................ I had my builder put in a 9' door and I wish I had gone with a 10'. I only have 3" on each side and it is tight..........
