Have some fender and dock rash on my rub rail what's best way to remove ?

Depends on what you are trying to remove but I have had good luck with Goo Gone on mine.

Acetone is the most amazing stuff to use on your plastic housing. Acetone is safe to use on the fiberglass as well since the make up of fiberglass uses acetone in the manufacturing process.
If your trying to polish the bright work then I would use your favorite metal cleaner. |

Our white vinyl dock bumpers leave white marks on our black rub rail. When I use the buffer/wax the boat I just hit the rub rails at the same time...works great...mac

OOOO steel wool works well also. Follow up with a little protectant like 303
