Removing valve covers on '79 S&S ???

So I began what I thought would be an easy job and realized that 2 of the lower valve cover bolts can't be reached without removing the exhaust manifolds??? I feel like there has to be some way to get these off without removing manifolds....any advice?

I bought a flexible 1/4 drive extension which I'm going to try but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

78 Valve Covers

I was able to do it with a 1/4" drive a couple extensions and an adapter (forget the name). but its like a wobble link but allows 90 degree movement. Did it without taking the manfolds off. (when I put cast aluminum finned valve covers on... Good luck!

1/4 drive with an extension and a universal joint will get the job done.
