Fuel Line replacement '97 PS190 LT1 ?

Hello All,

I searched the old threads but I didn't find much info on my specific question.

I'm looking to change the fuel lines in my 1997 PS190 w/LT1. (specifically the lines between the tank and the fuel pump only.)

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with sourcing replacement lines. I see skidim sells fuel line... but I'm not sure what to buy.

I believe its 3/8" marine fuel line.

I replaced my feed line tank to engine this winter. Fairly straight forward on my 1991, I imagine its the pretty much the same for a 1997, give or take.

Did you have to remove anything to get the hose fed back to the tank? Or were you able to just feed the new hose easy peasy ? Thanks

As in "Cessna Citation X, C750", a Textron Company.

The hose is held on by a hose clamp on the hose barbed coming out of the fuel tank, routed behind the tank and along the bottom of the hull and held by 5-6 plastic hose clamps, and attached to fuel filter by a hose clamp to the brass barbed fitting on filter assembly.

At least that is how it is on a 91 PS, I can't imagine the 1997 being drastically different.

Mine was just 20 years old and I figured that is quite old to risk a fuel leak for $40 worth of materials, and since it is listed on skidim's website as one of their top 10 sellers, it's a best seller for a reason.

I agree about about the preventive maintenance... that is my plan.. I've seen what fuel lines look like in old motorcycles... it ain't pretty.

Trying to replace the fuel lines on my '97 PS 190.

Anyway, the original lines have a factory molded connector on one end and an open worm gear clamp connector on the other end. Since all I can buy is the 3/8" fuel line it looks like I have to go with worm gear clamps on both ends of the fuel line. This should be okay since it's a low pressure fuel system. I'm just looking for confirmation that worm gear hose clamps will be suffice on both ends of the fuel lines?
