91 Maristar 240 open bow clean 270 original hours.

bought this when i was living in austin, tx. last year and dragged it home with me when i moved back to los angeles.
boat is clean other than needing a little interior touch up in the rear bench seat and runs excellent.
i spent thousands of dollars replacing damn near everything that ever wears out like all new gaskets on motor and externals, $1400 on the trailer including all new brakes from the tongue back, LED lights, new tires, new bearings, etc. to insure it made the 1400 mile trip flawlessly. boat has the 425HP 454HO INDMAR motor.
getting boat detailed saturday and all new decals and pin striping applied monday.
if any one is interested i'm asking $13900 obo 310-428-0796

Great looking boat. How does it fair in rough water? We boat mostly in Havasu, and are getting beat up in the afternoons.

91 Maristar

I owned a 91 210 until last year, 454 like yours had very low hours as well. To answer the question on handling on rough water, this is one of the strengths of the boat. I have owned a 2000 Malibu Escape 23', an 06 Nautique and now a 06 Maristar 200 and the 91 handled the rough water as good or better than any of the newer boats. Doesn't turn as quick as the newer boats, best comparison is like driving a 73 cadillac, smooth, powerful but not a sports car like the newer models.

it handles rough water pretty well considering the fact that like all ski boats the back half of the bottom is nearly flat.
if you're interested call the number above you're only 5 hours away, i've been getting calls from people all across the country and even canada. not sure why no ones pulled the trigger yet on this hard to find boat in such great shape but i've basically sold it to 4 different people that all backed out and flaked right at the very end after countless emails, text, and phone calls.
