speaking of bumpers ... how do you guys tie off bumpers if your boat doesn't have any cleats? I have a '04 X2 without cleats and find it rather difficult to put out bumpers without doing some boy scout rope tricks off the tower & ski pylon (which looks very ghetto!).

That's what I do, The cleats don't give a very good tie off point for bumpers.

I use the aft cleats and added midships cleats to my 07 X2 just to hang "fenders" (BTW, they're not bumpers) There are several fender hanger options you can add to the boat.
