This has been a fantastic resource and wonderful learning experience, appreciate all the advice and PM's so far!
It seems that the partially redesigned 2013 is worth the extra money over the 2012's that have issues with the BIG screen etc.
Actual real world sales figures for recent x25's help out a lot, keep those PM's coming
Can someone shed light on the 5/3 warranty for a 2013 VERSUS a 5/5 warranty on a 2014 if at all this exists? If I got a 2013, should i get the FPC extended warranty from the dealer, or something else?
You all rock!

I think KahunaCraft wrote a good summary of the '12 vs '13 vs '14 models, and has an excellent point above on MC warranty response... so I wonder if now may be the time to get deals on the '12's.

By all accounts on TT with the '12 owners, the '12 issues seem to have been resolved with the software updates. And MasterCraft will not leave the '12 unsupported in the future. However the '12 model year has a reputation in the marketplace, and are perhaps undervalued as a result. The bottom line is while the control system is different, the engine, transmission, most of the gauges and instrumentation, and frankly the rest of the boat, is identical.

Perhaps the best deal out on a newer boat at the moment is a '12. Hammer on the price because of the 'issues', and then enjoy the lower price you paid on a newer boat that works just as well because MC has solved the problems.

I am based on Lake Austin.
So these boats came with a 5/3 warranty in 2012 and its now a 5/5 for 2014 is that correct?
