I have only seen two pictures of this Sportstar, but they both have been great! Pictures sell a boat. Post up a ton of them. I sold my old boat for a price that many told me was too high. But I just kept posting pictures and it was gone in a month. The new owner emailed me pictures last summer to tell me how much fun he and his family were having on it.

Post 'em up!

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

HAHAHAHA...I would buy that boat at $12,000 for sure. I have owned/sold eight Mastercraft boats in the last 7 years and a few of those were Sportstars. The boat/motor/trans are all good, but the cheap interior holds them back a little bit (the foam block back seat is really bad). I understand that it was an entry level boat designed for skiing, but most buyers still want to use the back seat occasionally. I would like to find a PS190 with 4-600 hours for $12,000~. I know they are out there..........

Just curious as to why you wouldn't want a '94 or newer? There is one on ebay right now w/under 500 hours that has a buy it now for $12k. Doesn't seem like to bad of a deal based on the pictures and the adds.

There's a 94 190 on ski-it-again.com for 9,999 in CA with 600ish hours that looks to be in very well cared for shape IIRC.
