Scioto boat club (Columbus Ohio)

Hey,
So I put in my application to join the scioto boat club here in Columbus. I don't have a spot to keep the boat yet here and the club looked like a pretty good option. Curt Bernstein (nautique rider) who I've ridden with a couple times at wake nation is their dock master, so that was a contributing factor too. Any TTers out there that are members? Looking for some more information on how this place works.

You can also get slips at O'Shay for the cheap ...... but Scioto sounds like fun ... it might be a busier scene than O'Shay ....

Also didnt want to keep the boat in the water, and probably moving closer to downtown so it would be more convenient.

Willy T and Prostar,

I live within minutes of the Scioto river and would love to hook up sometime. I leave my boat at Cumberland year round but will be bringin it back this spring to get some work done.

Don't know much about the Scioto boat club but I don't think I would want to leave my boat in the water - just sayin".

Anyhow looking forward to gettin' out on the water!!

We should have a get together to meet. Weather will be upon us soon. Where are you located in Cumberland Footin?

I wasn't too impressed with the Scioto when I lived in Cow Town. Pretty dirty, always a current and trees floating in the water. I did most of my boating in the north end of Alum Creek. Only thing there was you needed to be in by 7 out by 11 or be run over by all the boatnics. Probably why you hear everyone from Columbus saying they leave their boat in Cumberland. Good luck!
