New owner here. Our local tri-lakes area does a little summer program teaching kids to ski and wakeboard. My 13 year skis and my 10 year old does everything (ski, slalom, kneeboard, wakeboard, wakeskate, etc). So once the kids learn to ski well they get to start to learn to climb. This was my 10 year old's first shoulder ride attempt this summer. I think she pulled it off pretty well.

Note this should not be tried without proper gear and more importantly proper training. Our lake association fortunately has professionals that have taught these kinds of maneuvers for decades and they know what they are doing. Note that my daughter is not using a ski rope but using a "bridal." A ski rope for that position is VERY dangerous because the climber could get caught in a normal ski rope.

My son's tournament video

Pretty proud of how far my son Jack has come with his wakeboarding. He is the first rider in this tournament video from Fort Fremont Marine (Wisconsin). He's been attending Gordy Buboltz's camp for the last four years up there.

That kid has skills! My daughter won her first wakeboard tournament when she was 7. She was the only girl doing board slides on the wake. She is 13 now. She can jump wake to wake heal and toe side but she has no interest in getting inverted. I love watching my kids ride.

Very cool. Get her doing spins, and eventually handle passes. There are tons of cool non-inverted tricks.

Gun Lake

Great day on Gun Lake in Southwest Michigan today! 10 kids, 5 adults on the boat. Everyone had a big time! Pics rotated for some reason but you get the idea...

My son is becoming a really good photographer. Here's my grand daughter with the boat nicely framed in the background.
