LTB Wanted X-45 Trailer
I am in the process of purchasing a 2011 X-45 that is currently on a 06' DHM trailer. (It's a really long story.) The issue with the trailer is that it doesn't have a swing away tongue and the way the two exterior steel pieces attach, it can't realistically be modified to swing. (If the tongue was to swing away, and I took the swim platform off, it would fit in the garage.) I really want to avoid spending the 8-10k for a new Mastercraft trailer, so if anybody knows of a X-45 trailer out there, please post or PM me. Thanks in advance.

I'd say call Boatmate and have them make you one, they would do for much less then you mentioned. Issue may be the fact they are made in Maryville, TN which is a ways from where you look to be.

That was my thought too. I am hoping to be able to get one in the 5-6k range, so used was looking pretty good. That being said, I haven't called Boatmate yet so I have no idea what those cost.

I called Boatmate today and was pretty happy with the pricing I received. Assuming the quality of the Boatmate trailer is high, I think I may have a winner.

I loved the one I had made from them in the winter of '09 for my XSTAR. |
