Stock Ballast X25 Surf Settings?

Wondering if someone could help me out. I just took delivery of my 2012 X25. I have the stock ballast,6.0 engine, surf tabs and attitude plate.....

How would you set me up for the Port and or Starboard sides

Speed?
Ballast?
Surf Tabs?
Attitude Plate?

I want to see the best wake possible before I opt for adding sacs.....

Never tried surfing with just the stock ballast. I'd say you want to fill both back tanks (that's only about 400 pounds though) and drop the starboard tab (left button) and then use the plate as needed to lengthen the wave. Definitely going to need some bodies along the port side to pull it off.

9-10 mph is the way to go but my guess is you'll be underwhelmed and want to add a little more weight.

That is why my boat is still at California Skier .. they are installing 2 x-2 sacs in the lockers and a sac under the port side locker ? got everything from Jason @ wakemakers running seperate pumps from the stock system so it does not mess up the BIG system

Should give me 750 in eack locker including the stock ballast and another 500 in the port side plus factory KGB ... everyone in my family surfs port so thats why I only went with a port side bag.

Here's a pic from yesterday's Wakeboarding Mag shoot, this is an X25 with stock ballast, full on port & center, 20% down attitude adjustment plate, and rolled 100% left on the surf tabs, at 10.4 MPH, the wake was really nice with just stock set up, in my opinion this is the best surfing boat in our line!!! Be sure to note that the starboard set up is exactly the same but
0.5 to 1 MPH slower.

Thanks, I spoke with Zane on the phone while my boat was in production and he told me the setup then,I emailed him last week with the same question because I couldn't remember it for our first weekend in the new boat. I know he's busy so that's why I posted on TT

I did these EXACT settings yesterday with 3 people in the boat, I was really impressed. The picture does not do its size any justice, it was pretty BIG!

Looks pretty good. So this boat is completely surf-able stock? What exactly is the stock ballast on the 2012 25's?

I use both stock and extra ballast on my 25, and I love the stock, and love the extra even more! Here is a pic of stock port tank filled, kgb empty, and tabs all set for port surfing (center at about 30-40 percent...).

how many people and I see you have some on the rear transom seat ?? not to legal where I go ?

This is my wake with a extra x-2 sac in the locker and on under the mid ship seat my daughter is 5'8" and that wake is over her waist ... I can make even bigger and longer
