No Boat!

It's a good thing that I have a big party to go to today because having no boat S**KS! I'm going to call the marine body shop guy and if it takes longer than 2 weeks, the buff and detail will have to wait. I thought I would work on my golf game during the time off but I don't even have the desire.
I'm just going to have a couple of these today!
Well, at least I have this pic to look at.
Also, it is time to buy a real camera, the pic phone is not so hot. Suggestions on a camera would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

The weather has been cool anyway. Not much like summer.

Steve- there is a discussion of cameras in the old forum, if you want to see it. Otherwise, www.pcphotomag.com and www.outdoorphotographer.com have links for camera comparisons. Once you see some cameras with the features you want, you can go to one of the mass merchandiseers to play with them. Yahoo Shopping has prices and dealer ratings, too.

Thanks Guys,
And Thanks Rick. Did you notice the green water? We had some kind of bloom this year and it is finally clearing up. It even made the pics look green! Here is a pic from last Monday, last ski behind my Tristar before selling it. Green butter as JohnB would say.

John,
No doubt, you really found the green blob that day. We had days that when the wind was right that it was really bad. The "blob" was making it's way around the lake.

StevO, I've said it before, nice boat. As for the cargo, I couldn't say anything that hasn't already been said.

As for non-pressing maintenance, like total wax/buffing, I always wait until the end of the season. Even if you're going to have someone else do it, most boat places are less busy when it's cold outside. That's just been my experience anyway. Throw a coat of wax on what you can reach, and use it while you can.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
