Mertens, where are you riding?

We skied out at Diamondhead last night for a few hours. There's a chance I'll be at the river tonight depending on what the wind does.

I've got a questionable knee so no riding for me, but I'm always down to hang out on the water.

Storm34 - We ride the river as well when we can and saylorville late nights and early mornings. We use to have a great crew but riders have slowly started to disappear or lose interest. It would be great to hook up with you. If you would like, shoot me an email or phone number for texts or calls and I can let you know when we are trying to go. Weather looks pretty bad this weekend, Sunday 59 and sun, I would still be in.

How is Diamondhead? Do you have property there?

Our small group of boarders also paintball most Friday nights at the indoor ICU facility if anyone is ever interested when the weather isn't good for boarding.

Some days I wish I had a place there or knew someone who had a prostar that lived on the lake. I imagine your place sold easily?
We enjoy skiing and boarding there quite a bit!

We didnt sell it!! My brother lives in Des Moines and he still uses it every weekend. I just dont get there every weekend...

I don't do so much "riding" but am interested in doing some skiing. I could also possibly help out if someone needed a third sometime. I have done virtually no boating in Iowa, mostly out west, but would like to learn where to go for some flat water. I have a new to me Prostar 190 that is almost put back together (worked on lots of things this winter). Let me know.

Hey got my boat from Ames... Now it lives is illinois....have same problem...when I was boatless no one was around to give pulls.... now that I have a boat have trouble finding people to go...started a ski club on the south side...people signed up and wanted to go but they always cancelled...so now I hang with Too_tall from the forum when I can and a friend I met down river in Henry Illinois...Henry is an 80 mile drive...but no boat traffic during the week....
