Waterline to tower height

For those of you with various towers on your boats, if you have the measurement, would you mind posting the distance from the waterline to the top of your tower (highest point). I'm in the process of building a dock, and I want to make sure I have enough clearance to pull into the slip with a tower up. (Don't want overkill on the clearance though).

Don't have one now, but an X-25 or X-35 could be in the future.

My thoughts were 9'6" or 10' should be sufficient.

MC has the tower height to keel listed on the website. subtract 16-18in and you will have the waterline height.

Or build it full height so you can add a boat lift.
I don't know if you're planning on it, but I can imagine it would be a real bummer to decide you wanted a lift some time in the future and have to re-do the roof height to get the boat to fit. Though I guess you could just lower the tower when you want to raise the boat.

The slip will have a lift in it, and the trusses over the windshield/tower area will allow for the boat to fit up into the rafters. Is 16-18" off the measurement specified on MCs website accurate? An X-25 tower is only 7'6" or so off the water?

I have 10' 4" water to rafter height (average) in my boat house. 08 X-star barely get's the lift out of the water (few inches). If you are placing a lift in a boat house, you need to consider bunk height (10" or 12" usually), cradle/beam height (4" - 6" depending on I beam material) and variations in water levels. Also, it depends on your spreader bar locations and if it will be a center pole lift. I would go with a minimum of 126", with 132" preferable.

The measurements on the site were measurements I took. The 16-18 is a little conservative, for an x-25 it is probably more like 14 but I do not remember for sure.
