I've been kinda watching for this for a couple years. It's a real hassel when you pick up some weeds and lose your speedo in the middle of a run. I wonder if one unit can supply both speedos? I'd want to keep them both to maintain the original look. Also, can anyone comment on the compatiblity with the stock speedo's from my 85?

Older mechanical gauges like our Airguides would have to be replaced with an electronic unit.
They sell the kit on eBay with a medallion gauge. http://www.ebay.com/itm/310318222804...ht_1610wt_1048 |

I have one on my 99 and it is perfect!! Dead on! When footing off my boat it was difficult to get accurate speed due to weeds or speedo just not working. Now it ALWAYS works! Love it. Two of my buddies have it hooked up on their Correct crafts too. Highly recommend!

I have looked at this also. I have PerfectPass and an analog speedo. I can get the speed from my perfect pass. I have a hard time spending around $300.00 to have my analog speedo work when I could put it toward parts that are more of a priority. I have also talked to the guy who developed it. I would like to get one to have my analog speedo working correctly and remove the pickups off the back of the boat.

We've been using our $100.00 Garmen GPS in our boat for 3 years now. Great for skiing in the course or boarding. The GPS unit sticks to the windshield corner and has a decent sizedigital speed redout. Its perfect ALL THE TIME! The unit seems to stay in the boat more than in the cars during the summer. It also sticks over the factory tach well to. With lots of stuff floating in our river the stock stuff just doesnt do it.

However, it remains to be seen if my main driver (read: wife) will be able to hold steady speeds even with a digital/satellite readout. Suffice to say, I'm starting to save for PP, just in case... ![]() ![]() |
