A standard hydro-hoist has to be mounted on both sides. We ran into that problem at our marina and had to add a finger to divide the slips. Hydro-hoist does make a front mount lift but there aren't a lot out there.

We've got two of the HydroHoist front mounts on our dock. They work great, but I agree with 73blue....don't really see them used. We got both of ours new from a dealer near us in TN. here's a picture of them:

Come on down and we will do a double ... Several neighbor have a second floor on their docks which are perfect for the afternoon crowd pleasing flying dock starts ... If prostar19 could land one we could do a triple!

You find a hoist? I have one for sale. Its a 4500# HH UL2 in a 10' slip. Was set up for a 92 PS 205. About 3.5 years old. $4500. I am selling b/c we just bought a 55 and i need a 6000# lift.

I have a front mount 6000# hydro lift and works well. Front mounts are the only ones we can get a permit for on our lake. Only negative is how much weight it puts on the dock. I had to add extra floatation. I wouldn't attempt to mount a non front mount to an L.
