Yes, its the 351w (5.8L). What I believe you are incorrect about is the "High Output". You most likely have the standard 240hp version.

I think you are probably right about the HO... it may just be the 351w. Do you know what the R stands for?

I don't think the hours make as much difference as to how it was stored and maintained and it has been out there for a while based on the age. It looks like there has been a fair amount of moisture in the engine compartment. I think the price is almost double what it should be or at least be closer to 10k based on age and that it is a tristar and not a prostar. granted, I am biased to the prostar. My 93 engine looks better than that but I have done a fair amount of work on it.

I dont think the engine and compartment have ever been cleaned and maybe I should have cleaned it up before posting the pictures. everything in that compartment is original as you can see from the pics. Austin is a very humid place so I'm sure the compartment does pick up moisture. The boat is in great condition and the hours are for real. I think for the age and the shape the price is good, "but I am open to offers".

Very sharp looking boat. But, I also think it's a bit overpriced. Have you looked at advertised prices for similar vintage Mastercrafts? I've seen late '90s Prostars in good shape for less money.
