Rent a private lake

This might be a great way to beat the crowds and guarantee good water. (I have no affiliation with this property)

The lake although private , is open to the public. So you would have the land to yourself, but the lake will not be. However, good water is to be had. I used to drop a course there in the fall when the wallies would call it quits for the season. The campground(Camp Far West) is full of questionable characters, but I've heard they are now allowing the sheriff to patrol the grounds and the lake. Alot of jet skis and jet boats. There is actually a part of the lake where alot of the jet boat enthusiast hang out and race.

Thanks for the information. I should have known it was too good to be true.

Its still cool deal though. I may look into it for a big group campout. Thanks for link. If you want a lake to yourself check out this out. A bit too far for me though.

Great link. I believe that is associated with the cable park going up around the same area.

Looks like a nice lake. Does anyone know if they offer day use or only the $60 two day one night package? I am going to contact them. Looks like a fun lake to spend a day on.
