To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Trim/tilt, Babe Detector, pencil holder, Doppler Radar, coin pocket or a lit-tle ti-ny television. If the stereo is on the passenger side of the boat, it could be for the remote control.

I had a guy ask me the other day where my trim gauge was. One time when i had the boat beached, the power company opened the gates at the dam, and the lake dropped like 8 inches, the boat got stuck in the sand. I had to ask some of the rednecks at the sandbar to help me lift her out, every one of them said, "why don't you run the drive up, it'd make this a lot easier". I had to stand up on the boat, get everyone's attention and say "this boat is a straight inboard, there is no drive to run up, i cannot "trim" the motor, we have to lift the prop out of the sand and move the boat"

so, if you don't go with a PWC seeking torpedo launcher, i'd go with a trim gauge.

by the way, beautiful boat.

Thank you, I ended up getting it strictly by accident. While the dealer was prepping it, they had three other offers for the boat. They have since ordered more single stripe boats.

Another possibility is an observer seat ballast tank weight indicator, assuming you have that option.
