Which is unfortunate.. since it's more than adequate for this boat model and the majority of users.
More often than not just means a better deal for the buyer |

As stated, there is little difference in the Rtp and MCX than about 1mph top end on the MCX and a $3500 price tag. The MC cruise for 2011 is more similar to PP than years past too.

Fuel consumption is higher with the rtp than the mcx.

I beg to differ on the fuel consumption as the MCX is the worst behind the LY6.

When I purchased my X1, two dealers told me there was NO reason to pay up to the MCX and promised I would see no difference (and I was not trying to cut cost). They also told me based on the fact I was coming from no speed control, I would absolutley love MC Cruise.
By the way, they were right on both accounts - I have been super pleased with both. I know the X2 is bigger and heavier and PP has more features but I think an X2/RTP and Master Cruise is a perfectly fine combination for most people. |

I've heard lots of people rip the big block and ly6 for gas consumption... But never the MCX or RTP. Being the same block, I can't imagine they differ by a lot, but let's not start a fuel consumption debate on a classified add Have your buddies throw you some more gas money of it really makes that big of a difference. Look the setup is a little unusual but it'll definitely get the job done and be a great wakeboat for someone, hell its a Mastercraft. |
