But when anyone says the RTP is on par with the MCX and that MC cruise is just as good as PP well then something needs to said.

Looks like a great boat. Someone is going to get a good deal.

I made the statement having owned both engines... and making the statement to not let the RTP engine turn a buyer away because it is a great motor. Obviously the MCX motor is a little more hot but not many will be able to tell a difference. I had this discussion with the dealer before I purchased the X1 as I was coming from the MCX. (And no it wasn't a sales pitch as I was looking at other boats with the hotter motor.)
Good luck to the seller... Looks like a great boat!

Not to take it too far but fundamentally they are very similar motors. Different intake manifold and a few other odds and ends but more the same than different... minus the shiny intake.
Bottom line both GM derived 5.7L V8's.... |

Cam, intake and exhaust are different. The tune is different as well; I would say both the fuel and spark tables in the tune are different. What is the same is block, bore, stroke and heads.

It is certainly a sharp boat.
