Best colors to now show wear/dings/dock rubs/board scratches

All, what are the best colors interior and exterior as far as now showing scratches, etc...?

I would assume lightest (white) is best then work your way down the color spectrum to the darkest (worst). I have a black hull with red deck and take great care to watch the scuffs but there are a few board scuffs just above the platform and think a white boat would not show as much.

As far as interior, I would think it would be opposite for it showing dirt/stains but a dark interior also can get hot. I have the off-white/gray interior and keep it wiped down.

Stating the obvious....get whatever color you want and watch what you are doing (bumpers, tie-offs, docking location, etc.) and keep it clean and you will have no worries.

Not black, that's for sure!

I'd say white or off-white. I had a "safari" color on my '03 Maristar and it didn't show scratches much at all.

White by far. In the beginning I just thought that all my scratches were in the dark grey area on my boat! I do have to look hard to see most of the scratches on the white, but there are a few that jump out at you, like the ones that got below the gelcoat

I have a white boat and a black truck. The boat almost always looks clean, but as soon as I wash my truck, it starts to look dirty again. The white hides the dings very well too.
