LED's for Interior Courtesy Lights

Has anyone changed their courtesy lights to LED's? I was looking at the Rigid Industries A-Series LED lights
http://marine.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/48015

My fear is I put them in the bow and stern and they're too bright and blind my passengers.

Option B, use the cupholder LED rings only to light the interior, but I have 10 cupholders in the X-35 and that's mighty pricey.

Anyone ventured into changing out the courtesy lights with LED lights?

Thanks!

Oh you do NOT want rigid A series as your courtesy lights. They are blinding for little pods. I had 4 of them under my old truck.

If brightness is an issue, use a dimmer. If your 08's courtesy lights use incandescent bulbs, you may be able to easily convert them to an LED buld and retain the same housing. Another option is to leave the OEM courtesy lights as is and just add some color accent LEDs around the boat and put them on their own circuit.

2nd this on the bulbs, just google Festoon LED and the color.

I am putting in an RF Control module and some RGB lights when I put my tower on. some in the gunnels but mainly overhead on the bimini to give me so loading/unloading light.
