So sad, time to part with my 79 Mastercraft

I'm finally selling my baby. I'm graduating soon, and its time for an upgrade. As much as I want to keep her...its time for some more bow space....(im eyeing a 209 prostar). I'm technically the 3rd owner of this boat (the second owner had it for a month) and I've owned it since 2002. I have put alot of blood, sweat, and tears into this boat, and she runs like a champ. This boat has to find a good owner...I really hope someone on this forum will give it a good home.

It has a 351 Ford W with 1139 hours, and is water ready. It has a marine stereo with aux input for the ipod etc with two speakers. In the last year it has gotten a new carb, new tires, new prop shaft, new battery, and 4 cup holders. Since 2002 I have done a ton of things on the boat including adding a back seat that can move forward so passengers can sit and watch the wakeboarder/skier and still have room for ballast in the back. Trailer is in good working order with little to no rust. Tires and spare are 1 year old. Please ask or PM me for the complete detailed history. I am also willing to sell my fly high pole for wakeboarding along with the boat. Some of the gauges don't work (i think most are a wiring issue) and the blower doesn't work), and I never got around to redoing the decals on the outside (although I bought 2 Mastercraft 79 decals--just haven't put them on yet--and would be willing to include them in the price). thanks, really tough to sell...its like giving up a classic muscle car that you know you will regret later...its time though...

I hear you. I often think of the '69 Mustang convertible I sold and never should have. I imagine there will be a time when I will be looking to upgrade my boat and be faced with the same problem.

I would buy it if the wife didn't find out about it.
That's identical to the first MC I ever bought, it was a great boat and easy to work on.
