Bimini for a 2005 X-2

Hi,

I have a 2005 X2 and want to get a Bimini for it.
I am a bit confused as to what I need to buy - what size etc.?
Any recommendations please

Thanks
Justin

The primary dimension to look for is the width. If you have a tower, then measure the open width between the tower poles, and take off about an inch or two on each side for clearance.
Some biminis are mounted low, some high.

I bought a used OEM MC bimini for $200 not long ago.
A new OEM MC bimini runs $800 to $1100.
OEM MC bimini will have 100% stainless steel poles and fittings. And the front and rear mounts are stainless also. (heavy duty)

The economy westland style bimini will work, but it has plastic fittings and strap tie downs that can flap and make noise. runs $200 to $300 new. These are aluminum poles, with the fabric straps front and rear.

There are numerous aftermarket biminis that run $1,000 +

I like a bimini that mounts to the tower. for a prostar 190 with no tower, the bimini would mount to the windshield or the top of hull.

these guys have some new OEM MC biminis.
