This has to hurt... and happened in Manitoba, Canada last September
he stated the boat was at the top of the rail system and the winch gears stripped and the boat began back down the ramp at a good speed. the winch then reengaged where you se it and as the boat was strapped to the lift it decided it was going to keep going until either the prop and shaftand rudder hit the last cross member. i believe it was the back corner of the boat.

That is just painful to see. It's almost too bad the winch re-engaged. You'd almost hope it would just go off the back and drop in. That looks like a big PITA to get righted.

Can you imagine coming home from work and seeing that??

After seeing what can happen, I think I would want to buy a good system if I were in the market. Just sayin'
