Why did the X-80 take such a hit (depreciation wise)? That seems way too low to me.

Great question - no idea. I see these from $64,995 to $87,000. I did see one about six months ago without trailer, 2,900 hours, $55,000. I suspect this one to be VERY close to $65,000 to $67,500 with such few hours. I hope this rings true.

What did that boat "list" price for? I thought they were being PURCHASED (not jacked-up list price) in the $120K - $150K range and if that is true then something does not seem right. Just curious.....

^ Not that high around here. What do I know, but not much demand for these boats, that's why the price drop. You have to find the right buyer. They are big, heavy and technically you have to have a special permit to tow them around here. I think MC dropped the X-80 this year....Looking at the pics of this 2005 X-80, I wonder if this is how MC discovered surf tabs!!!!!

That boat is 7 years old (it's a 2005, and they are now delivering 2012 boats). $60k to $70k sounds right to me. That boat would have sold for approx $100k new
