X-25 top speed

wondering what you guys are getting at top speed. From all of the reviews I've read it seems that with the MCX the X25 should hit the low 40s.

two people on board im maxing out at 35mph. Never been able to go past that.

5.7 ilmore i can get 41 mph on GPS zero off, plate down about 30% just me in the boat. I never go more that 35 driving around anyway. ski at 34, wakeboard at 23.4 and surf at 11.0, works great for all of that.

On my X-25 with MCX, stock ballast filled, and stock prop, I hit indicated speed of 43 mph. I did not check against the GPS, though when I've checked against the GPS at wakeboarding speeds, GPS speed exceeded indicated speed by a mile or so.

ok to req ski around, not very good to cut hard on slalom ski, Even with the plate down going 34mph wake is still pretty big and very hard. I have had x2's and x15's, the x2 with plate skies the best, the x15 with plate is ok, the x25 not as good. The x25 does have a much better wakeboard wake than the other two boats. Surf wake is great also.

Wow, that's pretty good. Like I said on a calm day itll go up to 35 but not more.

I wakeboard at 22. Still can't figure out my surf set up though. Have it on 11.6 but still not what I want it to be (factory port and KGB filled + 450lb x2 sac in port locker + 250lb on port bench + 250lb on bow bench port side).

That should be a huge surf wake, try slowing down to 11.0 or 10.8 I have factory port filled plus 350 bag on top of tank, factory kgb filled and a 650 lbs under the port bench seat. Surf tab down on star side and attitude plate down about 30% the wake is big and long.
