National Show Ski Tournament
Who's heading to Janesville, WI to watch the National Show Ski Tournament? I'll be there if anyone would like to meet up.
Taken from USA Waterski: D1 Show Nationals' Running Orders Posted The 37th Indmar Marine Engines Division 1 Show Ski National Championships will be held Aug. 12-14 at Traxler Park in Janesville, Wis. Hosted by the Rock Aqua Jays, the tournament will feature more than 1,500 athletes competing for the coveted show ski national title. Fourteen show ski clubs will be competing in this year's tournament, which is expected to draw 10,000 spectators. For the fourth consecutive year, the team competition on Saturday (Aug. 13) and Sunday (Aug. 14) will be available for viewing via a live Webcast at http://waterski.teamusa.org/live.

It's a shame that not a single person from this forum will be going
 I saw Mad-City's show last Sunday night. I was impressed...They are always a leader in the show ski circuit. They did some pretty innovative acts and I think they'll do very well at nationals. From what I've heard, RAJ has this tournament locked up...they are a step above everyone else in everything they do. Number two spot, however, will be competitive. Badgerland would have won state if it hadn't been for a 5% safety deduction. Here's the running order: Saturday, August 13 Team Competition Running Order: Mad-City (Madison, WI) Wonder Lake (Wonder Lake, IL) Waterhawks (Waterloo, IA) Backwater Gamblers (Rock Island, IL) Webfooters (Fremont, WI) Chippewa Lake (Medina, OH) Arch Rivals (Lake Saint Louis, MO) Five Seasons (Cedar Rapids, IA) Sunday, August 14 Team Competition Running Order: Water Bugs (Muskego, WI) Rock Aqua Jays (Janesville, WI) Badgerland (Merton, WI) Ski Broncs (Loves Park, IL) Aquanuts (Twin Lakes, WI) Beaverland Must-Skis (Beaver Dam, WI) I'll be down enjoying the shows. If you happen to see this portable cafe at the park, make sure you buy lots of coffee. I want a new 214!

Mark Jackson will be doing the commentating from Polk County Sports Marketing. I know that Scotty Clack will also be there from INDMAR. Both GREAT SHOW Skiers with lots of background in the sport. Mark was the first to complete a gainer. They both skied at the Gardens and competed on the protour in FREESTYLE!!!
