2003 X-2 Bow Filler Cushion

I decided to go with a local shop here in town. I should have everything back next week. Hopefully I'll be happy with their work because I have a few more cushion that will need to be recovered pretty soon. They're only charging $135 for the bow filler cushion, which is about $100 cheaper than my dealer quoted me.

Has anyone ever used Viper Customs for complete interior carpet and vinyl replacement?

Picked up the bow filler cushion from the upholstery shop earlier this week. The fit is pretty good. I just cut out a cardboard template and told him how thick it needed to be. I had the engine cover there getting reupholstered, so he just matched the vinyl to it. I got a piece of 1/2" starboard and plan on cutting it tomorrow for the support.

That looks really well done! Any pictures on the support structure you created? Did your upholstery shop keep the plans to replicate the design?

I haven't gotten around to cutting the starboard for the support yet. Hopefully I can get it done the weekend. I'll post some pics when I get it done.

I just cut out a piece of cardboard for the template. I'm sure any decent shop could make one from a template.

I cut out a piece of 1/2" starboard to support the bow filler cushion. It seems to do the trick. I'm going to get a thin piece of rubber to put under the edges.
