Hull Contruction Question

I've got a 01 Maristar 230VRS and I've been thinking about installing a tower.

Since that year Maristars and X-stars shared the same hull, does anyone know if they built in supports for towers?

If you can get a look under your gunnel - or where the tower is supposed to go - you should be able to see a metal plate fiberglassed in place. Try taking a look and this should answer your question.
