acid wash over decals

I'm going to pull the boat out soon and giver her an acid bath with toilet bowl cleaner. Is it safe to do this over the decals too?

"The Works" bowl cleaner is the best. Don't get it on you,it stings. I do my vinyl decals last so I can keep them rinsed quickly. The vinyl on my 86 looks brand new, 25 years of bowl cleaner hasn't hurt at all. Sometimes twice a year. It works best if the surface is dry, otherwise it gets diluted on a wet bottom.

I hope this is just a midseason cleaning and you're not storing yet.

Not totally a bummer up here in the great white North! Supposed to be 24 - 26 C (77 F) this weekend here in central Alberta. We're hitting the lake for sure. Haven't used wetsuits since back in spring although the water is getting chillier.
