Northern Michigan

I have been reading threads for a while and finally decided to join. Owner of a 02 PS190, in Northern MI, West Branch area but to be exact clear lake. I know there is a bunch of MC's on the lake, 11 to be exact and a couple weekenders trailer theirs. Any one else up in Northern MI, still the LP.

West Branch, Up North ??? It's not up north until you've driven 5 hours.

I spent years driving to and fro St. Helen. It was one holiday massive traffic jam that I made the decision to get my pilots license. Only made a few trips there after that. Finally decided to sell the plane, and get water front

uh, yea

UH, ahem..... you arent up NORTH until you cross the Mackinac bridge my friends.....

and our Michigan geography lesson for today is:

Upper Peninsula = NORTH

I am up NORTH, I live on the south shore of Lake Superior, and that is about the farthest North you can get in Michigan baby!!!!

I've been on Clear lake before... Took my first MC up there many moons ago, probably around 96. I haven't taken the boat north in quite a while as I recall the weekenders churning up Clear Lake pretty good. My grandparents live near Loon Lake in Oscoda county which would be awesome to ski on but the bubba launch owner won't launch ski boats, regardless of price.

I'm with U.P. Prostar..... You ain't up north. The correct term is "Northern Lower Michigan", although I'd question whether West Branch really even qualifies for that.... more central, maybe. But anyway, there is a great dealer at Chums Corner, just south of Traverse City.

Yes I agree, not much of Northern Michigan, but that is what most flat landers refer West Branch too. Never been to that dealer, always go to WaterSports in Fenton. I will have to look them up though, have some friends that live up that way. Where in Michigan do you live?

As a life long Michigander UP NORTH was anything above the Zilwakee Bridge not the Mackinac. Above the Mackinanc is refered to as the U.P. But I believe it is al relative. It's a great state either way.

Tones03, I have a place just east of you near the Rifle River Recreation Area and pretty close to Loon Lake.
