Congrats on the boat!
Pumps.... Most likely the impellers and design. Ballast..... Call Wake Makers. One stop shopping, great customer service and they know their products. They'll set you up with what you'll need and it'll actually work. http://www.wakemakers.com/?gclid=CMW...FQvKKgodhRptXw Perfect Pass.... I upgraded to StarGazer this spring. Love it. Be aware though that if you want to run RPM mode on slalom you will still have to calibrate for speed vrs. RPM. Operation is about the same with the menus for setting up favorites and speeds. |

Pull out the tanks. There's no advantage to keeping them in there, the piggyback method adds a little unneeded complexity and with just bags you have more storage, especially when empty and servicing the engine is much easier without the tanks in the way.

I was out on my X1 this weekend I have the 750's in place of the hard tanks, that is a no brainer. I had the 750 and a Fat Brick in the back port side. If you are going to surf and not wakeboard with the ballast I would put an enzo sac on the port side. That gets you 1100. If you need it to be symmetrical for wakeboarding then 750's.

There is one advantage. Resale. There are a lot of people out there (Myself not included) that would rather have it exactly like it came from the factory.
Other than that I'd opt to remove the tanks. |

slap some 750's in the back, pick up the integrated bow sac and don't look back.

hey also, just a recommendation. i'd have the trailer brakes, seals and actuator inspected. just for peace of mind. you may also want to have the engine alignment checked out if it's never been done before.
doug at eastsideservices.com does good work.

Good point. I kept mine in my storage unit along with the brackets. I doubt if in 20 years when I sell it anyone will be able to remember what came from the factory.
