Replace Clarion CM1635 Tower Speakers?

My Clarion CM1635 tower speakers need to be replaced on my 2004 X10. I can do the CM1635s again or I heard the Rockford Fosgate M262s fit in the standard cans, does anyone else have any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I have a 2004 PS209 with tower and I am looking for replacements as well. I have seen on-line where guys have replaced clarion speakers with JL MX650 series and been really happy. These don't have the separate tweeter, though. I have a contact at MC that says the JL are a much better speaker, too. However, the JL's they have now for towers won't fit in the cans for the Clarions. I am going to do some investigating this July 4th weekend. If I find anything worthwhile I will post again.
