S&S towers

I am debating a tower on my 81' S&S. I am reluctantly against drilling perfectly good gelcoat, trying to keep it original, but I was hoping for some pics of anyones towers on the same model. Can you post some pics if there are any out there? Thanks in advance.

I would put a fly high pole on there instead of a tower...

Stay with the extended pylon.

Just add some board racks to the pylon.

No doubt, that looks good. Maybe just a bimini and keep the pylon. Thanks for the easy convincing.

I agree with the above. I'm perfectly happy with a bimini, extended pylon and a Sky Rack.
Don't pay any attention to the bow strap, just temporary for the pic!

here's my 86 with a Joystick tower, with Aerial wake rack. I really like the way it fits with the lines of the windshield, and boards are out of the way when in the rack. 4 bolts and i can take it off for winter storage. Lightweight aluminum tubing and cnc machined mounting pads and joints, and its powdercoated too. Just another option cause this boat is simmilar to yours.
