Depth Gauge Removal

Need to replace my depth gauge at the back of boat does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove it. It's glued down pretty well.
Thanks Ed

If its the factory one it probably has silicone or fiberglass resin holding it down. Apply some heat with a heat gun to soften it up a little and then try and stick a putty knife under it.

You could just leave it and install a new one behind it. We know that MCOCD will not allow such a thing.
