Short of Satan himself, I am voting for whoever is running against Obama. That was exactly my point when I suggested Ron Paul give it up. Fact is, he isn't even going to get close enough to sniff somebody else winning. While I can respect "fighting the good fight," voting for someone who is completely unelectable and helping Obama win is just plain dumb.

This is exactly the compromise that I am tired of making. The thing you have to understand, social issues aside, there is not difference between the democrats and republicans. They are both expanding government, they both over-spend, neither wants to cut REAL spending only cuts on the increase in spending, both have shown they are for illegal/unconstitutional wars, and they BOTH are ERODING our civil liberties. bush/cheney started this attack on the Bill of Rights, obama is continuing it. The assult on our civil liberties alone is enough to not vote for "the lesser of two evils". I won't do it anymore. I will vote for who/what I know is right, not just what is less worse. The sooner the rest of the independents do the same, we will have a real revolution.

An idea that the media would like you to believe. Ron Paul is far from unelectable and I will stand on my principles and what I beileve in and vote for him one way or another in November. There isn't anything that anyone can tell me that will sway me from my conviction on this, and there are many many like me that feel the same way.

I just contributed to the 'Give Me Liberty' money bomb in support of Ron Paul and I am proud to do it. Our quest continues to right this ship.

Really?!? The attack on the Bill of Rights started well before Bush and Cheney. A write-in vote for RP, while it might make you feel better, is a wasted vote. Being that it is just the primary, go ahead and vote for who you feel is best. (This is the reason we have a primary.) But when it comes time for the big dance, vote against Obama.

I will only vote for THE Dr. Ron Paul in November, period. If this causes obama to win a second term, so be it and shame on the republican party for committing voter fraud against Ron Paul in the primaries. Maybe the republicans will learn a lesson from this experience.

But as noted in a number of articles I have read, will the gop have anything left if the Ron Paul voters abandon the party? Sure they will have maybe 15% of the population that will always blindly vote for them, but what about the rest? It will be interesting to say the least.

It is looking like it will be interesting to be in Tampa come August.

Nope, just checking on the kind of person that would support him. You left yourself open for that, and I just couldn't help myself.

While, I typically vote Republican, I am by no means one.
