2011- Brake away cable routing

Curious on how the brake away cable is routed through the coupler. One attachment shows it one way, my trailer is slighly different. Any comments?

the larger picture appears to be a cast coupler where the smaller picture is not (formed). I am guessing the larger picture is from your trailer? if so, can you take a few more pictures from various angles so that we might can find alternate routing. that appears to be in a possible pinch point when clamped on a ball / closed.

hmmm!!! now you have me curious on my trailer, as I don't have a break-away cable, merely chains w/hooks... I think???
