iPod Cord

I hooked up my iPod to the factory supplied cord at the head unit and it would not work. Behind the passenger seat (on the underside of the glove box) is where the cord comes through. There is a box midway on the cord that has a power light. The light is not coming on...is there a fuse somewhere along that cord before getting to the back of the head unit that might be blown?? It was working last time I used it so not sure why it would not be now.

Any ideas?
