In Need of 2 Cans - 08 X-15

Good morning.

I am in the market of purchasing two tower cans that would match my current cans on my 2008 X-15. I have attached a picture below. I have decided that I want to undertake the project of adding 2 more speakers to my tower and I want all the spears to look identical.

Is anyone selling or know of a place where I can by 2 cans that are the same as my current cans (w/the tweeter and front-ward facing lights)?

I appreciate any help.

Those look like the same cans that are sold on the MasterCraftByDesign.com site. Of course be prepared to shell out $1,500 for them.

GEEZ! And that is NOT including the speaker? I am hoping someone has some used ones for sale that are in good condition before I shell out that sort of $ for cans w/out speakers!

Thanks for the post, however.

Those speaker covers are off an '07, are they not? I have an '08, and mine are different than yours. I can't post up pics of them right now, but did the cans change as well?

Just as an FYI, you could check with the guys at MBD (1-888-460-6186) and see if them have any blem cans available. The blems are usually not noticable, and it would save you some dough.

I agree. I have an 08 x-15 and i have differnt speaker covers. Mine are the 5 spoke or 6, not the mesh grill type.

Interesting about what MC X-15 and scott023 say! I am not sure if they came with the boat or not as I bought it used from the dealership!

Thanks for the advice scott023, I may give that # a call and see what they can do for me

I know I have an 08 because of the LCD dash with the down arrows, etc. I don't think they started making those until 2008?

Yeah, keep looking. They pop up from time to time on here or craigslist, ebay. Usually people that are putting in an even higher dollar setup.
They aren't cheap. I was lucky to score a great pkg deal on 4 of them (only needed 2) and sold the 2 I didn't need for more than the price of all 4!
If you can find them for $500 or less a piece with good working speakers, that's a deal.
Retail on a complete speaker/can/light is over $1000 I believe.
Talk to the guy a couple threads up. He's thinking about swapping out speakers on his 08 X14 for some Wetsounds.
